So, my wife and I had a new baby on 12/28/07. Hence the lack of bloggin for a big there. He was 22 inches, 8lbs 5oz. This is #2 for us. His name is Benjamin.

So far, the dogs are doing alright with him. Sydney, our female yellow lab, will lay down next to him and snuggle up. She also alerts us when he cries, as if we can't hear him. She's the perfect little K9 babysitter. Morgan, the male black lab, just pretends he doesn't exist. He will ignore whoever is holding little Ben. Instead of being mommy's dog lately, Morgan has become daddy's dog, because, well, daddy doesn't hold the baby as often. He did the same thing with Tim, but evenually got over it, so we're not too concerned. Kind of funny to watch him pout around though.
